   President's Corner

Greeting from South Carolina,

It is my distinct honor and privilege to server as your President for 2010-2011. I look forward to the coming year with much anticipation and hopes of being able to meet many of you. I hope you will consider inviting me to visit during your Telephone Association meetings and or Chapter and Club meetings. It is my intention to attend as many functions as I am invited to. “Pioneering, the Purr-fect way to volunteer is the message that I hope to bring with me to encourage all to use Pioneering to help in your communities and encourage your sponsor companies to remember that Pioneers are a Purr-fect and often forgotten resource for bridging the gap between themselves and the public. Pioneering puts a face on companies and shows that we who work in the industry are ready, willing and able to give back to our communities. I was recently asked what my hobby was, and the only answer I could give was Volunteering, because it is what I love to do, it is my passion and I hope to be able to pass that passion of volunteering on to you.

Pioneering & Volunteering,
Cindy Downing
