2011 ANNUAL ITPA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
**October 3, 2011 through March 30, 2012**

Greetings from your Membership Committee.  We trust you have weathered the record-setting cold, heat and rain so far this year.  We never know what to expect.  But, one thing we can expect is there will be an ITPA membership drive which can be a rewarding experience in many ways.  This year, the drive is being expanded to cover the period of October 3, 2011 thru   March 30, 2012.  Gives you more time and relieves some of the pressure experienced with shorter drive periods.

Selling points to be considered when soliciting new members could be the following:  Pioneering is personally rewarding and just plain fun; it is a good way to support your company and community; it can give retirees a continuing bond with their companies and former colleagues; the whole family can participate in volunteer activities and pioneering is one stop shopping for volunteers.

We want new members………reinstatements and family members (however, the family member does not count when qualifying for the incentive program since no dues are collected from them.)

The Incentive categories for the period of 10/03/11 through 03/30/12 are shown below:
                   1-4 new members     =     ITPA Certificate of Appreciation
5-9 new members     =     $10 check from ITPA
10-14 new members    =      $50 U.S. Savings Bond
15-19 new members    =      $75 U.S. Savings Bond
  20 + new members     =    $100 U.S. Savings Bond
